So, a lot of you have been asking about the foam inserts we sell on our website, how to use them, and where to buy more. We've decided to create this ultra easy blog post for you to follow along with that will leave you with the most secured cowboy hat on your head for the ENTIRE night.

First we'll start with the how to and then we'll get into the specifics on purchasing more (because yes, some of us have smaller heads!)
How to:
If you have purchased a Neon Cowboys hat, you've probably put it on and noticed its a little loose. The first step is to figure out where on your head is it loose. Ask yourself these questions: Is there space on the sides? The front? The back? Does it feel loose all the way around?
You've noticed this black adhesive foam strip included inside the box. The great part about it is all you have to do is tear or cut as much as you need from it to apply around the base of your hat.
For me, I noticed that I had a lot of space in the back of my hat but when I tried to use the entire strip, it made the hat too tight to put on. I used about a third of the included foam insert for my head.
Here is a variety of ways to place your foam so that you can find the best fit for you!
Now, if you happened to misplace your foam or you need more, we are so happy to let you know that there are all sorts of places you can buy it from. An alternative name for our foam inserts is the more common hardware term: "weather stripping". So not only can you buy more here on our website, you can purchase a variety of colours, widths, and thicknesses at Amazon and Home Depot. We include 1/4” thickness of foam included with all our hats so if you do want it thicker or thinner, check down below!

At Home Depot, you are going to locate the Hardware section where clearly under the sign is a "weatherstripping" category. In there, you'll find a variety of smaller rolls of foam which may be more suitable if you only own one or two hats.
